The End of Last School Year
Senior events GALORE!
I feel as though I don’t have to elaborate.
:]
Beginning of This School Year!
Awhhh yeaaah, this is when I began college tehehe
There is so much freedom that comes along with this— no more 6 hours (for me roughly 9 hours) every week day, starting school mid-day, almost no homework, and a less strict curfew.
This is basically a recipe for awesome.
:]
For this post, I’ll talk about my first day of college.
I’ve moved to a lot of different schools in the past, so I actually wasn’t really nervous for my first day but more of anxious to meet a lot of people!
I never set foot on CSULB aside from orientation && the campus is HUGE.
I went to school a little early to meet up with an old friend and walk through the campus to find my classes
Before I knew it, my first class was over and surprisingly bump’ed into a bunch of familiar faces before I met up with Mr. Marc Galara to explore the campus && find the bowling alley!
Later, we met up with Jesyca— I think that’s the first time I met Chad && Priscilla? :]
OH YEAH && I think that’s the first time I crashed at Jesyca’s dorm!
:o
Living the commuter life was a really different for me especially considering that I was a new driver at the time.
Prior I didn’t drive freeways much before && my dad was scared that I would get lost merging to three different freeways, so he drew me a map of the route I was supposed to take (well equipped with a compass!) even though I assured him that the GPS on my phone would work fine.
I remember leaving for school && my dad would constantly tell me silly things like, “text me as soon as you get on campus!” or “make sure you use my map!” or the classic “call me if you get lost!”
Lowkey && being personally honest, I was pretty sure I was going to die or kill someone driving on the freeway.
Ahaha
:o
Tehehe, it’s pretty funny reflecting on my first day of school and seeing how much has changed since then…
